The European Society of Biochemical Engineering Sciences offers a since the year of 2000 a prestigious award to a promising young scientist or engineer working in the field of biochemical engineering. The ESBES award honors the memory of the founding father, Professor Malcolm Lilly of Biochemical Engineering, and aims at recognizing outstanding PhD thesis of scientific publications by students or early carrier researchers in the field of biochemical engineering.
This year award is sponsored by Eppendorf and will be presented at the ESBES symposium in Lisbon, Portugal, September, 2018.
PhD students and postdocs are invited to submit a one-page abstract for consideration to email@example.com by August 10, 2018 at the latest.
The abstracts will be reviewed by a jury and shortlisted candidates (up to 4) will be selected to present an oral lecture in a special session on September 12, 2018.
This prestigious award comes with a 2.000 EUR prize. The organizers thank Eppendorf for their generous sponsorship. The award ceremony will take place at the closing session of the conference.
